Metaphor only: this site does not run cleanup on your PC—your browser just loads these static images.

Privacy

Last updated: April 3, 2026. HiBit-Uninstaller.org is a static informational site about HiBit Uninstaller on Windows. It is not the official publisher website, and we do not operate the program’s update servers or support desk.

This policy explains, in plain language, what this domain is likely to process when you browse or use download buttons. If anything here conflicts with your organization’s rules, follow your employer or school policy first.

What we host

Pages, vector images, icons, and scripts are delivered as normal static files over HTTPS. There is no account registration built into these HTML pages, and we do not ask you to sign in to read the guide.

  • HTML articles, topic indexes, and glossary entries are generated as plain files—there is no server-side database on this static deployment model.
  • Images under /images/ are decorative SVGs bundled with the site; they do not execute code in your browser beyond normal image decoding.
  • We do not operate comment systems, forums, or user profiles on these pages as shipped.

Personal data you type into this site

If a future update adds a contact form or newsletter box, this section will describe what is stored and for how long. As of the date above, the public pages shipped in this repository do not embed such forms.

Email addresses, phone numbers, or support tickets you send to other companies (hosting abuse desks, certificate authorities, antivirus vendors) are outside our control and not covered by this simple policy—we only describe HiBit-Uninstaller.org’s own pages.

What we are not trying to collect

  • We do not ask you to create an account to read uninstall guides.
  • We do not run loyalty programs, newsletters, or remarketing pixels in the baseline static bundle described here.
  • We do not sell personal data—there is no storefront or checkout on this domain.

Download links & leaving this domain

Download buttons may send you to a third-party gateway that serves the installer or archive. That host’s logging, cookies, and retention policies apply after you leave HiBit-Uninstaller.org. We cannot answer subject access requests for those systems.

For expectations before you run a downloaded file, see download.html and our SmartScreen article.

Server logs & analytics

Hosting providers routinely log technical data such as IP address, approximate region, user agent, referrer, time, and URL requested. We may enable privacy-oriented or mainstream analytics later; if we do, we will update this page and the list of subprocessors you should know about.

Typical log fields help operators debug 404s, abuse, and traffic spikes—they are not the same as an advertising profile. Retention depends on the host; many rotate logs automatically after days or weeks.

External resources (CDN)

This site loads fonts and helper libraries from CDNs (for example, Google Fonts, Tailwind’s play CDN, Font Awesome, cdnjs). Those networks may see your IP address and User-Agent when your browser fetches assets. You can block third-party requests with browser extensions or enterprise policies; pages may look different if you do.

Self-hosting every asset would reduce third-party visibility but increases maintenance; we may migrate critical CSS/JS locally in the future while keeping this disclosure accurate.

Regional privacy rights (general note)

Laws like the GDPR (EEA/UK) or CCPA (California) grant consumers rights to access or delete personal data held by controllers. On a purely static site with minimal collection, there may be little to retrieve—but if you believe we process your data and want to exercise a right, contact us through any published channel and we will respond within practical limits.

We are not established as your legal representative for HiBit software vendors or download gateways; direct those requests to the appropriate company.

Children

The content targets adults maintaining PCs. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through these static pages. Parents and schools should supervise installation of system utilities.

Changes

We may revise this policy when the site gains new features (for example, search, accounts, or ads). The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish substantive edits.

Contact

For privacy questions about this domain’s editorial content, use whichever contact channel appears on the site if we publish one. We cannot process GDPR or security requests on behalf of HiBit’s developers or external download hosts.

Privacy FAQ

Do you store my uninstall history?
No. HiBit Uninstaller runs on your Windows machine; this website does not receive telemetry from the app through the static pages described here.
Why mention CDNs if you care about privacy?
Transparency. Many visitors use blockers; we want the baseline behavior documented even when third parties are involved.
Are cookies used?
First-party cookies are not required to read HTML on a static host. Third-party CDNs may set technical cookies according to their policies; check your browser’s storage inspector if you need certainty.
